Targus is recalling the All-In-One Universal Plug Adapter / Targus Universal Power Travel Adapter .This product is a small, international travel adapter that provides different types of power connections to allow users to use their electrical appliances in different electrical outlets worldwide.

Hazard: Targus is recalling these products because they may
pose a risk of electric shock as well as fire. Although Targus has
not received any reports from consumers of any incidents or injuries,
Targus requests that consumers stop using the adapter immediately and
return it for a refund as explained below.

What to Do.
If you have one of the affected units, please immediately stop using it.

Identifying the Recalled Adapters: You can easily determine if
you have one of the recalled adapters:
If you still have your packaging, you can determine if you have one of
the recalled Adapters by looking at the model number on the back of the
package. All model numbers are covered by this recall. The most common
model numbers are:
PA033E (which was sold in Europe, the Middle East and Africa);
PA033U (which was sold in the U.S. and Mexico);
PA033C (which was sold in Canada); and
PA033B (which was sold in Asia).
PA033B, PA033BX, PA033Y001X and PA033Y002X (which were sold in Asia)
If you do not have the packaging or do not find your model number in the
list above, your adapter will still be covered by
this recall if it corresponds to the following description and photos:
The Adapter has the brand name “Targus” on the front of the product.
On the side of the Adapter is a switch to allow the user to select
one of the following three regional settings: “USA/Aust/N.Z.” or “Europe” or “U.K.”
The back of the Adapter provides three different plugs that can be
pulled out to be used in the regional setting selected.
