This organisation is an international conservation charity which was founded in 1989. The World Land Trust has been working to preserve the world's most biologically important and threatened lands, and has helped purchase and protect over 375,000 acres of habitats rich in wildlife, in Asia, Central and South America and the UK. The sponsorship that Targus has pledged to WLT will fund the purchase of land to save Orang-utans in Borneo. The Dell program enables organisations worldwide to share best practices and, as partners, offset the carbon impact of the electricity required to power computer equipment by planting trees in sustainable, managed reforestation projects.
