London, (January 08) – Targus, the maker of the world’s top selling laptop cases and accessories, has announced 2 new backpacks, Contour and Multiplier, for the young and active.
The Contour Backpack has been designed with security in mind. A concealed zipper running around the rear section provides discreet access to the main compartment and laptop section keeping the contents inaccessible and secure when worn.
Convenient side pockets with velcro fastenings ensure easy access to essential items, while slim zip pockets integrated in to each strap are perfect for keeping valuables close at hand. In addition a thoughtfully positioned sunglasses pocket, specially lined with anti-scratch nyflex, is situated at the top of the backpack to prevent breakages.
The Multiplier Backpack incorporates both style and function using a combination of textures, smooth lines and colour to create a striking look. The large main compartment has a padded laptop section and offers plenty of space perfect for carrying a Microsoft® Xbox® or other gaming equipment. The lined device pocket and integrated headphone port make it safe and easy to listen to music while keeping the device safely inside the zip closure.
The Contour and Multiplier backpacks use 3D air-mesh on the back section that allows the back to breath and provides comfort to the most active of users. Deluxe moulded padding and adjustable shoulder and chest straps give comfort on the move and ensure correct weight distribution.

Both backpacks have a padded laptop section with elastic restraining strap for added protection that fit screens up to 15.4”. The Contour has an additional removable pouch for personal items or computer accessories keeping everything organised.
The Contour backpack has external measurements of 36.4 x 30 x 4.3cm and weighs 0.88kg. It is available in an understated silver and grey colour combination with subtle highlights of either cool blue (TSB120EU) or deep green (TSB12001EU) and has recommended retail price of £40.00 / €60.00
The Multiplier backpack has external measurements of 36.4 x 30 x 4.3 cm and weighs 0.95kg. It comes with a cool injection of vibrant green (TSB119EU) or energetic pink (TSB11901EU) and has recommended retail price of £40 / €60.
