TARGUS INTRODUCE NEW EXPEDITION MULTIMEDIA CASE RANGE!
|
Targus Expedition cases designed for your camera, camcorder or other mobile gear!
Hong Kong, (Dec 1st 2005) – Targus Asia Pacific Targus Asia Pacific has introduced a new range of cases designed to suit your camera, camcorder or other mobile gear. The Expedition Range is a functional and attractive line of case solutions constructed from 420D, hardwearing nylon; there are 5 cases in the range including a variety of sizes.
A new study from Info Trends Research Group projects that digital camera sales are expected to experience a CAGR (compound annual growth rate) of 15% over the next four years, reaching 82 million units in 2008. The three leading regions for digital camera penetration are North America, Japan, and Europe. The Asia Pacific region, China, and the Rest of the World combined currently account for 10% of worldwide digital camera unit sales. By 2008, however, these regions are expected to account for 27% of the worldwide digital camera market in terms of unit sales. The Asia Pac market currently generates some 4 million digital camera unit sales annually.
“The Expedition line of camera cases represents our response to the integration of digital imaging with mobile computing,” said Mathias Von Bescherer, Sales & Marketing Director for Targus Asia Pacific.” Targus’ wide variety of solutions are necessary because the photo market today is comprised of a diverse group of products and users ranging from novices to professionals; in response to market feedback, we have developed a complete range of cases that strike a balance between function and style and designed to be compatible with multiple camera/ photo products,” continued Mr. Von Bescherer.
With camera protection in mind, high-density foam surrounds the main compartments, and all interior walls and dividers are covered with a soft, plush lining. In addition, the exterior of the cameras cases feature a protective and weather resistant 420D nylon outer material to ensure excellent long-term wear and use.
All cases have extra storage areas for items like memory cards, and the larger camera and video camera cases have additional accessory storage compartments for batteries, power adapters, and connector cables. All cases feature a detachable adjustable shoulder strap which reduces shoulder and neck strain.
The Expedition Line consists of the following formats:
