Name of product: Dual Outlet Slimline Power Inverters
Models: APV07CA, APV08CA
Distributor: Targus Group International, Ltd.
Hazard: The Inverters potentially pose a risk of serious electric shock and may in certain circumstances damage products connected to the Inverter, which could lead to consequential injury to users.
Incidents/Injuries: Targus has not received any consumer reports or complaints of electric shock or other injury or property damage involving the product in actual use.
Description:The recall involves Targus Dual Outlet Slimline Power Inverters
Models APV07CA and APV08CA (sold in Canada). Other models were sold in other countries: Models BUS0008, APV0601US, APV07US, APV08US (sold in the U.S.) and Models APV07EU and APV07UK (sold in Europe). All model numbers of the Inverter are included within the scope of this recall.
Distributed to: Inverters were sold through retail outlets and via the Targus website for approximately $59.99-$99.99.
Manufactured in: The Inverters were manufactured in China.
