Answering a growing demand for larger cases to protect the latest generation of notebooks, Targus has released two new models that can comfortably accommodate the Apple 17-inch Powerbook and similar-sized portable computers. The Black Top Standard and BlackTop Deluxe Platinum notebook cases deliver increased capacity coupled with a sleeker look. Rubber treat wraps around the outside of the case and acts as a shock absorber. The cases provide an adjustable padded compartment for the notebook and an easy-access front pocket, and soft sleeves for CDs, files and a mobile phone. The deluxe model offers extra capacity through an expandable file section with slip pocket. Heavy duty fittings are standard on both models, which are made of ballistic nylon.
