Cordless Presenter at under $100
|
Australia, May 2003 -- Targus Australia has released the new Wireless Presenter - a handheld device that uses wireless technology to provide control over slide presentations up to a distance of 10 metres. The presenter also acts as a cordless mouse, making it the perfect road companion for the businessperson on the go.
The Wireless Presenter includes a mini USB wireless receiver. An integrated laser pointer is also a main feature. Extremely accurate, it can be used to highlight particular areas of interest in a presentation, emphasising onscreen points. This new presentation device is available from all good computer retailers for an expected retail price of $99.95.
Featuring an attractive gunmetal finish, the Wireless Presenter fits comfortably in the hand and can be used by both left and right-handed people. Easy navigation through PowerPoint presentations is effected with large 'forward' and 'back' buttons. An onboard LED confirms the status of the wireless connection and also serves as an indicator of battery life.

Compatible with Windows 98, 2000, Me and XP, Wireless Presenter uses one-channel RF technology with 256 separate identities to minimise interference. A real plug and play device, the USB receiver simply plugs into the presenter notebook's USB port.
Available wherever good computer peripherals are sold, the new Targus Wireless Presenter is covered by a full years warranty.
